Her hardwork seems to be characterized as a relentless petulantism.

Perhaps it is an overreaction on my part but it is blanket statements like these that crawl into my skin, making it writh with anger. Here I would most appropriately be characterized as the typical irrational woman and/or trying to attract attention by playing the victim. Emotion, I suppose, is thought to gush naturally from women, like an uncontrollable, but inevitable leak. So when a women who is persistently characterized by stoicism, hardness- male qualities- I guess any display of passion will be considered disingenuous.
